Deck covering: Almost like the real thing: synthetic material from NuTeak

The advantages of synthetic decking are well known: virtually no wear and tear, easy to repair if necessary, colourfast and comparatively easy to install. What has been annoying up to now is that you can often recognise from a distance that it is an imitation. This should not be the case with NuTeak. They believe they have come very close to real teak, both visually and to the touch. The Americans also claim that their material darkens, if at all, and does not fade in the course of the product's life. They are so convinced of this that they offer a 20-year guarantee on NuTeak decks.
The installation can be carried out in three ways:
1. the customer is a skilled craftsman and can make a deck himself from the strips supplied, with framing if desired. This is the cheapest, but also the most labour-intensive method.
2. the owner makes a template according to which a suitable piece is produced in the factory. All that remains to be done at the end is gluing. This can also be done by less talented owners.
3. the European agency is in the process of finding installation partners, who are then trained accordingly and finally measure up on site and later lay the floor to fit exactly. The most expensive, but also the quickest way of laying.
The material costs 179.90 euros per square metre plus around 5 euros for the adhesive for complete self-laying. NuTeak with black or white joints is available from Ruegg in Hamburg.
